differance between stainless fuel line manufacturers

I just made an order on summitracing for a some differant things including some 3/8th (-6an) inch ss fuel line. I needed a part that I couldn't find on the website so I called them up and gave them my order over the phone. Well I got to the fuel line and I said I was looking for a 15 feet of ss fuel line but I could only find a 10' and then it jumped up to 25 foot. Well the 10 foot section I was refering to was made by Spectre and the 15' section he quoted me was summitracing. Summit's fuel line is 66 bucks for the 15' and only 22 for the 10' of Spectre. I asked him why the price differance and he said that Spectre doesn't make ss fuel line for real AN style fittings. Is he full of ****? I used the Spectre stuff for my fuel system and they worked just fine. Can someone please clarify what the differance is between summit ss braided line and Spectre ss braided line?

edit: nm I used summit fuel line and I've played around with spectre and the ss is just not woven into the rubber hose, it's just on the outside of it covering it. Thanks.
