diff fluid recommended?

I've got a diff from an n/a rx7 that is the LSD with the 4.3 r&p. I dont recall which model car it came out of, but the previous owner told me what it is when I purchased my car from him.

Im wondering what fluid to use in the diff when I put it in my car. Is there a certain fluid recommended? Any friction modifiers or special care to be taken?

Thnx in advance

4.3 Ring and Pinion is the GTUs diff if I am not mistaken.

You will want LSD additive to put in regular 75w-90 oil unless you pop for a synthetic like Royal Purple, Redline, or Neo Synthetic.

Redline should have the additive already in it, if you want to double check look to see if its safe for LSDs

It comes with the additive. See the website for info.

No, it will not have the 4.3 LSD if it is an unmodified GXL. See the FAQ for this section.
