Diff Fluid, 75W90 or that Shockproof stuff??..

after searching i have read some use 75W90 and some mentiond the Shockproof something or other, i have never seen this one at the store but i know i can order it.. which is the best rear end fluid? and it is hard to change??

don't use the shockproof gear oil. It is extremely thick, and leaves a heavy residue. Once you use it once you have to stick with it unless you feel like tearing apart your differential. It's mean't for some very specific aplications (striaght cut gear transmissions for example) Just the 75W90 will work great.

Yep, all the "Shockproof" stuff from Redline is really formulated for racing use, and they should not be used for street vehicles.

Call Redline tech support for more info...

hmm,.. it toke about a 40/60 mix of super light weight shock proof and 75w90 redline to get my transmission to shift right.. it was pretty screwed though,..
