Did TB mod, Set TPS, Car still won't idle

My car won't hold an idle could it be something i missed? I took of the thermowax thing and just coupled the two coolant lines, i removed the butterflys on the secondaries what else did i miss????

Vacuum leak?
Did you adjust the idle screw yet?

did you remove the dashpots? if you did that could def be why... i left mine on there because if i removed it it would drop off every time i stop... im about to rig up a diff on so that it only stops the throttle cable not gradually closes it like it does now

Clean up - or even better - replace the primary ground from the bellhousing to the firewall.

It must have bright shinny metal-to-metal contact.

The origonal cheezy clip-on ground will drive the ECU nuts if it's not perfect.

yeah i left the dashpot on but i like the idea of hading just a stop there let me know what you do with your i like the sound much better when it revs down fast like that.


As for my problem i solved it by readjusting the tps and resetting the idle, i don't know how this works with our cars, but it seems that i can take something off and put it back on change nothing and fix the problem, these cars are wierd but problem sovled thanks guys, and cwsttu keep me updated on that dashpot idea
