Unhappy Did my master cylander fail?

Yesterday I was driving along, and my brake got flimsey, but worked. I didn't think anything of it, and when I got to the next light, the brakes didn't work *at all*. I used the handbrake to slow down (I was turning right). I pulled over, saw there was fluid leakage, and just babied it home.

Now I thought that in dual master cylanders, half your brakes would still work if there was a leak. Do I also have an internal leak in my master cylander?

Thanks!

where was the fluid leaking from? If you pumped all the fluid out of the res., you could loose all your stop.

It leaked from right where the metal line enters the front left caliper.
