did i screw up my alignment BAD?

so i just finished installing an evo big brake setup so i had the whole front suspension off including the spindles. so now that i have everything back together i turn the wheel to the straight position and the one side looks straight but the other side looks turned inward about 5 degrees. bad enough to where i dont thing its drivable, so im wondering how did it get so outta wack? i know i had the tie rod ends off the spindle but i didnt mess with the adjustment on the ends..is it possible that turning the spindles/rotors with the tie rod disconnected could cause this? and also obviously it needs to get an alignment but i need to make it drivable to get it there..
another problem i had before is the place i took it to get an alignment a while ago wouldn't do it because they said the car sits to low to get it on the rack..the car is only lowered an inch but with the bodykit on it the front bumper sits 4 inches off the ground. what do you guys with low cars do about getting an alignment?

Call any local performance shop, or call all your local auto shops and ask if they could align lowered cars. Some shops have lifts level with the ground so lowered cars can clear the rack. I reccomend lifting the car back up and double checking everything. I'm assuming, the tie rod went out of adjustment and you may have not noticed. Lift it back up and adjust the tie rod yourself to where you feel comfortable driving it to a shop to properly align it.

If there is no shop that can align it, your only chance is to take off the bumpers and drive out to the alignment shop, their fear is that they will damamge the body, with the body parts removed, it should be more comfortable. Though your car may still bottom out on the rack if it is steep enough. I see-saw on some racks, but it's dropped a good 3 inches at least. before you do that, ask the shop if they will align it if you remove the bumpers, don't want to waste your time on that, if they still refuse to align it.

when you say the tie rod went out of adjustment what do you mean? the car is still up on jackstands so i havent even set it on the ground yet, i can clearly see that the tie rod ends have not moved, the lock nuts are tight and havent been losend. but one thing i wasnt sure of is if you only have one tie rod end hooked to the spindle and you turn the wheel would the throw something off? obviously its gonna throw it slightly off but 5 degrees? i dont think so...and i dont know much about alignment but i thought thats the only thing there is that could be adjusted??

That's what I meant, the tie rod end possibly turning and taking it out of spec. If you turn the wheel with one spindle connected, I beleive it shouldn't throw anything off. Since the car is still up in the air and you have not dropped it to the floor, I wouldn't worry about how the alignment looks in the air, you need to let the car settle down and check it out from there once the wheels are on the floor.

When you installed the tie rod end to the spindle did you fit the stud pointing upwards or downwards? You probably have one side of the car with it pointing up and the other side down. The stud is tapered and should only be installed one way.
