WTF.... it did that a few times...

my question was . i judt got my brand new KYB AGX and i was playing with tthem and pushing them down and ****.. i wanted to know if that will wreck them???

i can hear liquid in the rear ones,,,,

did i **** then up alread?

well i mean when i have your spring on it can only travel down so far... i was pushing a bit lower i think.. im not sure. i just dont like the sound coming fromt he rear ones..

there is no leaking.

I mean they cant be fucked i got them like 2 days ago!!

Shocks, when pushed down, should feel clean and smooth. There should be no feeling of "air pockets." You should feel plenty of resistance. Shock should come back up slowly.

humm ya they seam smooth and come back nice... just sound funny. the both back do.. i dont think theyr both defectaive.



but there is no way by pushing it down with your hand that it can wreck it............... is there?

I dont think that you can hurt it by doing that, its what they are designed to do, and even if you went past where the springs bring it, they can be used with cut springs which push it farther than stock...never ever heard of wrecked struts by pushing on them

I have a set of Apexi struts that have made noise ever since I put them on, especially in the back. Mine work fine so chill and quit worrying about it.

they arent broken...... there is no way that would break them... you wil hear liquid inside.. thats what they are full of.

you're hearing the oil sloshing around under the gas charge. Gas is used to presurize the oil to prevent foaming and better control the oil inside the damper. Koni warns against making adjustments to the shock in anything other than the upright position, but that is to keep gas from getting trapped under the piston and hindering damping performance.
