Detonation

I went and got a price quote for a full exhaust he said it would cost in the $400 range for mandrel bent piping all the flanges and stuff( 3" Turbo2 Downpipe Included). I was wondering though if i get this would I need fuel mods if kept my boost low. I have a manual boost controller that i could set for like 5 pounds or so would i still need a new fuel pump and maybe even Injectors. I am planning on still getting the fuel cut controller and everything if there is something else i should get or if i will need other fuel mods let me know.

An upgraded pump is pretty cheap.

Better safe than sorry, IMO...

I don't have the money for a fuel pump. If i need one to run i will not get the exhaust.

Well, if you have just intake and exaust, you should still be ok.

Be sure to at least re-wire your TII pump so that it gets constant voltage. There is a write-up on that somewhere.

But even a used FD fuel pump would be better for the future.

If you get 3-inch all the way back, youll still get boost creep/spike...especially with the cold weather getting closer.

Just save a little more money and do it the right way.

EDIT: You do realize that boost controllers are generally used to raise boost....right?
