Hello everyone.

I'm rebuilding the FC A/|C system.

I have the plan of replacing the A/C Compressor shaft seal doing a complete overhaul of the compressor.

My stock compressor is a Denso 10P15C

As i read in the Factory Service Manual it should be the version with "2 piece" shaft seal.

But as i read in this website
Denso 10P-Series Compressors

There are 2 versions of 10P15C compressor:
-The one with 2 piece shaft seal listed in the FC FSM and also in the parts catalog
-The one with 1 piece lip seal produced after 1990.

My FC Vert was produced in 1991.

What i'm asking you if it is possibile that the compressor installed in my Vert is the new type that differs from FSM description for the Shaft Seal.
I'm asking this because i have not unbolted and disassembled the compressor yet.

For me it should be a strange thing the fact that in FSM is not listed the possibility of a different style compressor.
Or, perhaps, even the latest FC Vert produced have the first style compressor.
Is there a FSM updated to 1991?

Does everyone tried to overhaul the A/C Compressor?
