Defrost Vent removal

So I searched for a while and no answers so here goes...

I have the standard cracked defrost vents and am replacing them. I touched one and it fell apart and I quickly realized there are screws and mounting brackets on these things on either side... How do I get at them? does the front section of the dash just pop up? Very fragile area and dont feel like breaking anything else today.

Removed middle screw. There is a small metal plate holding this section of the dash down. As I previously mentioned all of these dash parts are fastened from underneath by screws. Now what? Do I lift off this forward section of dash? Because its pretty snug and I don't want to break fragile stuff that's hard to reach. Are there more screws behind glove compartment maybe? And yes MazdaTrix still sells some of them

Found it in tech manual. Once you pop it up, you have to rotate 30degrees. Go figure.
