Thought I would post this up for everybody's reference. Maybe a mod would like to archive it?

I couple of minor tweaks:

The JM1 in the Vin stands for Japanese Mazda passenger car.

This is different than the US built Mazdas, and represents that the car was assembled in Japan. The US built Mazdas will use F4 (Ford Built North America) or YV (Mazda built in North America)

The majority of the Japanese manufactures use this designation. For example: JT Japanese Toyota, JH Japanese Honda, etc.
