a decent 2g???

Hi, im looking at buying an rx7, my 1.8l eclipse is a slow pos and and im very interested in the second generation 7. this car is on auto trader and is for sale near me

it is
1987 MAZDA RX7, SE, Japanese specification eng., with under 35k, 5spd, turbo w/intercooler, boost controller/gauge, Racing Beat down pipe, 2.5" exhaust, Highflow Cat, 225+HP, low 14 high 13 second 1/4 mi., PRICED REDUCED! needs final touches, $4,000 obo,

depending on wat the sellers ideas of "final touches" are, would that be a decent car to buy? i heard that the se has a crappy suspension set up, is this true? would be changed eventually. what about the racing beat exhaust? any info/help would be greatly appreciated

Do a compression test first, also see if that's the total milage of the engine, not just since he put it in. Price seems ok, but try to get him down.
