Dead Clutch Pedal!
yesterday my clutch was on the floor. So I added some of the brake fluid to the master cylinder. It was pretty low. Everything was well. So it drove well until this morning, I go out and its on the floor again. I check the level. Its at half. Add some more fluid....and I pump it a couple of times. It gets pressure again.
But after driving for awhile without shifting gears, it will lose pressure again. Dont want to be driving like this. Any help?
Im at school right now and would like if someone can help me so I wont be stuck here. Thanks

replace the flexible clutchline first
and the pray thats all it was
you may want to get a somewhat newer car if you cant afford to maintain a 21 year old sports car, because it only going to rack up more repair bills from here on out

Look for a leak.
most time the slave master cylinder is the problem. They are cheap, maybe $50 or so.
The little rubber o-ring inside got all torn from rust in the clynder sleeve. This won't happen if the fluid gets changed every year.
Don't bother to rebuild it, even though its easy. The inside of the cylinder has to be perfect, or same problem will happen.
Get a new slave mast cylinder. Two nuts and the line and comes right out.

Haha your right. My bro was telling me RX-7's were gonna cost a lot to maintain. I guess this isnt a hard fix. Ill see into it. Flexible clutch line is about $16?
( for example SS braided line from Corksport is $18)
and is retardedly easy to replace
hint for the day: to give yourself more working room, unscrew and remove the oil filter
I'm not trying to scare you off 7's just bear in mind ANY 20+ year old car is going to have maintenance issues

K...I inspected it this morning. Saw no leaks. Maybe the slave just crapped out. No leaks from the master. It is the raining time. Would this matter at all?
Edit: Yea when I first got the car I did a $500 tune-up with new oil cooler lines and all that good stuff.
This is the most recent problem it has given me. Other than that she runs great.

if you're master cylinder resevoir goes down by HALF in one day of driving you have definitely got a leak somewhere! find it before it eats all the paint in your engine bay... lol.
yea, you are going to have to bleed it when you're done.
