Dead Battery
Dead Battery
Hi all,
Just got my 89 vert back into shape after replacing the omp thanks to this site. but on an unrelated (maybe) note my battery continues to drain for no apparent reason. Any help on this would be appreciated. If there is any common cause for this on the 89 rx. Also my drivers headlight motor quit working. Maybe stuck trying to operate I don't know.?
Thanks

Clarify
Just to clarify, I have a new battery, and the alternator works fine. I have no other electrical problems acting up. Occassionaly my idiot lights will flicker but that's been going on for like ten years. After a good charge the car is fine but will drain after a couple of days?
I would first check out you're head light assembly, one of the rods that move the headlight up and down came off on my 87 GXL, got jammed up in it preventing the light from operating and that was draining my battery for a few days till I found out it was related. once the arm on the light was fixed battery was no longer being drained.
