AZ Dash lighting and Running Lights

Hey went to drive to work this morning and after having to jump start my car (love doin that at 5:30 am) found out that neither my Running Lights, nor my Dash Illumination lights work. Headlights pop up, and function properly. but no tail lights, no side markers, and no front markers. Turn signals work as well.

*Fuses are good* - Just checked

iLLUNINATION FUSE in the interior good?

If it's good, then you might have a burnt wiring at the headlight switches elect plug. Pull that plug off and take a look ......if the Illumination fuse is good.

Headlights themselves have nothing to do with these fuses mentioned above.

Common problem with the burnt wires/connector at the headlight switch.

If the other gauges besides the Speedometer are also on the fritz then the Meter fuse is the likely cause. If the Tachometer is the only gauge not working then the cause might be related to the trailing coil since it provides the signal to the tach.

This has been a problem for a while. the Tach sometimes when its cold will not work, but once the car warms up a lil bit (times vary ALOT, engine temps don't matter) it'll work again.

Also i believe i figured out the problem with the lights, i wiggled the actual switch and it caused the lights to come on and off. so i believe i gots a bad switch. i'm still gonna check out the wiring behind to be sure.

Pull the plug off the back of the switch. It's probably burnt up. Pele here on the Forum rebuilds the switches, you can PM him for details. Pull all you exterior running light bulbs and check them for corrosion. Corrosion at the connections will cause your switch, plug, or both connections to burn up. More resistance= more load.
