do i go ahead and replace it with a new one from mazda, or use this one?

its a performance dampener, and its way cheaper. i would like to know if anyone has used this, and has any good things to say about that.PEACE!!

judging by the picture, you wont be able to use it with your stock fuel rail. it will end up costing more money and more work to get that installed correctly. Use a new mazda unit. You will need a new damper, probably a new upper intake manifold gasket, 5/16 fuel injection line, and new clamps. You might as well replace the fuel lines while youre in there. If you dont want to, just get the PD and gasket. The gasket may rip when you remove the upper intake manifold. Might as well be prepared.

I have dealt with Marren Racing before and they were great guys to talk to over the phone.
They serviced my injectors and did it quick, I had them back in 6 days and I only paid for UPS Ground shipping both ways. It took them 1 day to do the work.
I would call them and ask how much work it would be to incorporate their PD into an RX-7 fuel system. I got the impression they knew a little something about the RX line when I talked to them on the phone.
Give them a call. Otherwise, every bit of Wan's advice is accurate. Make sure you have that gasket, they are only a couple bucks and new gaskets are always a good thing. The fuel line should be replaced too, if you have it and don't need it is one thing. Needing it and not having it, that sucks.
Good luck.
