Damn fuel filter
OK I went to change my fuel filter on my TII thinking it was a 5 min job like on my NA. Get under the car and it is in another place. It sits up higher and under the hood actually. On my NA it was farther down the car and it was horizontal, not vertical like on my TII. And it didn't have some bracket holding it in place. I skipped changing it for a more prepared day, lol. Just wondering if my NA one was in the right place.

The pump on my NA is sitting on the frame rail where the firewall meets the frame. It is almost completely vertical. Of course, the bolts have rusted away, so mine is held securly in place with zip ties.

Zipties to the rescue
Mine's just about vertical, in a bracket.. Easier to undo all of the bolts holding the bracket on, then remove the filter from the bracket, but it's still a bit of a pain.
