IT BROKE!!!!!! Grrrrrrrrr......... This sucks, i have to open the door from the passenger side now, is there a fix for this??? Mazda said the door handle is $103.00 plus labor to change it........ is there any way to fix the orginal door handle, or do i have to just take one up the rear and let mazda fix it?

Not really a way to fix it once it is broke. I have heard of people reinforcing the new one once it is put on though. Something about a small metal strip and tiny screws through the lift mechanism. You can get a used door handle for much cheaper than it would cost for Mazda to replace yours. Look in the junkyards or post in the parts section.

What is the symptom? can only open from the inside or neither? If it is only openable from the inside, you need a new handle. There is a cast aluminum half-moon shaped thing that swings down....and its broken. So get the new handle. Its not hard to do, unscrew and pop off the panel, undo two bolts, two rod connectors, take off some wires(for some) and pull out. I have a different problem right now, where the door won't unlock...even if I manually pull the rods inside...somehow I can jimmy it open...but my problem is different. Oh well, good luck.
