d**n wheel hop

Im getting some very bad wheel hop, and ive got some pretty stiff coilovers(JIC base model). Im thinking about replacing the rear suspension bushings with polyurathane, but im not sure which ones to replace. which ones make the most differnce? ive also heard that a rear strut tower bar can help as well, does anyone have any experience with this?

Try this.....Get an alignment. Did wonders for me. Went from crazy wheel hop to non-existence. Your suspension setup should be fine, just go to good alignment shop and get a 4 wheel alignment.

a quick, cheap fix is to put in a pinion snubber toward the front of the differential to prevent it from torquing up during hard launches/burnouts.

I have eibach springs, kyb gr-2 struts in front and kyb adjustable gas shocks in the rear and i have crazy wheel hop if i just drop the clutch, so i slip it at like 5K rpms instead and that seems to work well

Dunno if the pic links still work. I hope to have a page up detailing the install sometime this winter...

Any performance shop can order them. Read the thread. I put every detail in there that I could think of.

you don't go looking for pinion snubbers. look for bump stops. they typically go on A-arms on the front suspension to keep from bottoming out. and you can order them in different lengths. how long are yours Amur?
