ouch, i agree, its your car, you do what you want. but when you get laughed at for things like that that serve no purpose but to let people know you have a car and your probably a teen that likes to race. if you like it keep it, personally i think its extremely tacky, but then i have different taste

If you need a place to hook it up you have a couple options. Say you want them to come on when you turn on your lights, hook it to a switched 12v somewhere. Like run the power wire into the cabin of the car through the firewall and splice it into your cig lighter light, that will work. Or if you want it on all the time you can hook it into ignition.

 

My only question is, what is the gameboy looking thing under the extinguisher on the passenger side?

Not to be a *****, but if you post on this forum, be ready to expect flames. Especially if you are asking how to put things on your vehicle that are classified "rice" (in my eyes atleast). Honestly, 90% of this forum tries to keep the name of the Mazda Rx-7 clean, and we for the most part don't have giant fart cans and huge shopping cart style wings to insult the lines and beauty of the car, but occassionally there are a few to slap us in the face. I feel the same, do what you want to do to your car, but be ready to hear the opinions from the jury.

You know, negative reinforcement like this only drives people away from the community.

Probably better off suggesting what WOULD look nice, or posting pictures of nice 7's as examples instead of just bashing away at what is already done.

Anyways, just thought id quote this to make sure it wasn't missed amongst the flames.

 

Right, I bought a pair of those. Three months later I came online and found a set stock sprayers for $10 on the forum. That made my decision right there. The LED sprayers have been rigged into a continuity checker.

 

Last sunday i was out with some honda guys (meeting some Rx7 people but they were late...) and we saw a car that had a wing like that and they all made fun of the car. I have to say it was unexpected.

As for how to turn on your goofy lights (since i think you've taken enough abuse for your car) assuming their 12v rated, just run a wire from the headlights main wire to the LEDs. It wouldn't have to be big gage since they're not going to be drawing a lot of power. Shouldn't take more then 5 minutes to wire up really...

 

oh god, that wing... rip that **** off immediatly, then give your car to the nearest self-respecting rx7 owner who will not gay it up.

but at least the car's not bright Orng with Blue underbody neon..Air bag'd ,droped.... and has totle fiberglass inside*orng*

... so what... i have a damn fire.... if i dont have that damn thing the car burns up... and ill be be crushed.....
