People have some interesting points from both sides. A lot of really old school car guys I spend time around are all for cutting springs. They have different goals in mind for their cars though... more about the belly dragging...

My main concern is ride quality. I'm not a fan of bouncy rides.. and if thats what I'll get from cutting, its not for me.

 

Do you think the shorter, lowering springs will have the same spring rate as stock? If you want the ride frequency to stay close to stock, don't lower your car.

 

I understand there will be some sacrifice. But it seems that it will be less by purchasing lowering springs.
