cutch sticking

hey guys,

I got my 87' rx-7 running really good now but sometimes when I am stopped and I go to shift to 1st or 2nd teh clutch is stuck down to teh floor and I have to pop it up with my foot. What is this? Does it need fluid or what? Oh and what is the normal operating temp. on teh rx-7 13b non turbo?

Have you checked the fluid in the master cylinder? That would be the first thing to do.

if the fluid is at a normal level, then you have air in the hydraulic system. this is caused by the internal seals leaking, this equals a need for a new clutch master cylinder. not too expensive if you change it your self, maybe $70. good luck!
