To cut or not to cut heater hose for Prestone's flush kit T
Any strong opinions one way or another? Posts from previous threads regarding using the kit for flushing rads were inconclusive/contradictory. Maybe I am just waiting to hear what I want to hear! One description offered for the use of the kit without cutting the hose was inconsistent with the parts in the kit I have.
I, and possibly other newbies, thank you for any insight.

Haven't we ALL heard this
I dunno man...our heater hoses are in such a bad place. I have some other cars that have them and they are just so....out there. and easy to get to. In my TII it would be a pita.

I have the kit installed in my sister's 87gxl and it's been 3 years without any leak whatsoever. My 90gxl had it on for 18months and looking good. Plug in a garden hose and watch all the dirty stuff flowing out. And the rest comes out thru the engine drain hole. To be environmentally friendly or animal friendly, I put in a large drain pan to catch all that backflush coming out of the radiator filler hole. Hope that answers your question.
