custom throttle body IC elbows.
I'm gona try to get a local shop to make me one. instead of that little circle thing with the pipe facing towards the firewall. I'm gona make one with 2.5" pipe comming straight out of the TB.
I might get him to make a few. would anyone be interested in buying one if the product and cost was good?

hmm is that 3"? might get in the way of P/S. I wouldn't like using that rubber under boost either.

The Greddy front-mount comes with a MASSIVE, cast TB inlet. Might be worthwhile to see if Greddy will sell it separately.
Or get the Greddy IC kit .

check out http://www.rxengineering.com/miscellaneous.htm
I left him a msg and he was very prompt with his reply. They $AUD140 (so less than $70 for you guys) and avialable in 2 1/2 and 3 inch. Not too bad really. There's quite a few places here in australia that make them, but rxengineering are the only ones that bothered giving me a decent reply to my email.

I've been told to use the NA elbow too. It goes forward at a pretty convenient angle if you DON'T have P/S. My P/S rack gets replaced with a manual one when the engine comes out, so it's all good.

I've been running an N/A TB for 3 years now and it works great.....I have a T60-1 turbo, Spearco FMIC w/ 2.5" tubing then flairing to the TB (3.5" reducer). I run about 20psi ( Wolf EMS ecu) and the TB works awesome.....You'll have to cut your oil inlet tube way down and ditch the PWS unit. Actually I made a custom bracket for the PWS mounted down were the A/C was....that should be cool.....anyway, try it.....The flow is great....

ohhh ya...all that emission stuff would get into the way, but I don't have any (stand alone ecu) ... I made a inlet tube the makes the arc to go under the P/S unit before I got smart with this N/A TB....Like I said there is some fab'n envolved but not to bad really....Don't forget if you have the stock ecu you'll need a air temp sensor tap'd into the IC tube or TB...
I guess the idea here is to eliminate the lame TB that faces the fire wall and make the diameter larger for flow....If you want pictures send me your e-mail.....It basically looks like an FD sort of IC setup or an even better example is Soul Assasin -7....

sissy. you may look like pop eye with the forearms after you get rid of the PS but it feels nicer at speed. little tricky for parallel parking but who the hell does that anyways

Stick an NA rack in there..86-91 You can buy them for nothing at a yard......I like P/S too (auto-x) but once your up to speed and the blood is pumping you don't even think about it.....PLUS!! its saves about 50lbs...Man between that and the A/C its gotta be 50-75lbs....... I say do it to yours...hey Winter is coming, what else you gonna do? damn MN!

If you want a FMIC and want to run A/C you risk of over heating, its bad enough with have that A/C condensor......I love A/C too, but I have 3 other cars with it....Besides my wife hates the car (smell) and I usually take it by-myself anyway.....
The way I see it, its a race car.......
