Anybody ever made custom lenses for their FC? a friend of mine made these:



I was thinking of making a set like them.. or similar (less ricey)...

 

Yeah, people make lenses like that all the time. However, those are the ugliest one's I've ever seen. IMO of course.

Most people use the clear plastic with the "diffused" look. Like the plastic that typically covers flourescent lights.

 

i made some cept the edges of mine were curved to where the inside curved peice met the lense. and they were black.

 

In that picture the outer portion is sandblasted.. I really like that look.. if I were to do them, I would do them entirely like that.. or perhaps with a "RX-7" lettering in clear. something like that.

So yeah, I think with the clear part, its fugly...
