Hey guys, its been a long time since I have really been working on my rx, got married, had a baby, and got into motorcycles. But now I am back and working on the rx! I just got finished putting new wheels and tires on her, and now I am putting on the body kit I bought for it back in 2004 (full corksport type II kit) and next will be paint. I really want to do something with the hood though, I don't want the standard t2 hood either so I was hoping you guys could help me pick a new hood out. I am really good at body work so it does not matter if I need to cut my hood up and mold a vent or scoop in. If you guys could help me out with pics of different stuff and where to get it it would be appreciated. BTW I also have the headlight cover vent that corksport had so I want to try to have the style of the hood match. Thanks,

I really need some help finding out where to find a hood or a good looking scoop/vent deal that I can mold in.

 

i believe the one on the red car is called a drop vent. the black is called something ricey but dont remember what

 

The black one is a GT3 vented style hood. Do you know where to buy any kind of aftermarket hood for the fc besides ebay?

 

i dont really like aftermarket hoods on stock body unless you got an aggressive setup.

get one of these and put it on a aluminum hood

Is that lower picture the R/D-Magic reverse cowl vented hood? Does it really fit that poorly?
