custom hood options
Hey guys, its been a long time since I have really been working on my rx, got married, had a baby, and got into motorcycles. But now I am back and working on the rx! I just got finished putting new wheels and tires on her, and now I am putting on the body kit I bought for it back in 2004 (full corksport type II kit) and next will be paint. I really want to do something with the hood though, I don't want the standard t2 hood either so I was hoping you guys could help me pick a new hood out. I am really good at body work so it does not matter if I need to cut my hood up and mold a vent or scoop in. I found this hood on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...link:middle:us What do you guys think? Does anyone know if it is worth buying or is no good? If you guys could help me out with pics of different stuff and where to get it it would be appreciated. BTW I also have the headlight cover vent that corksport had so I want to try to have the style of the hood match. Thanks,

Does any one have a better pic of this hood? Or know what kind it is?
Here is the ebay hood
Not sure of what kind of hood this is either
I really need some help finding out where to find a hood or a good looking scoop/vent deal that I can mold in.

i dont really like aftermarket hoods on stock body unless you got an aggressive setup.
get one of these and put it on a aluminum hood

mold it in, and it should look somethin like this
this is clean too

I really like this one, I think I want to go with something like that. Do anyone know where they sell that hood or where they sell the scoop I can mold into my aluminum hood.

Is that lower picture the R/D-Magic reverse cowl vented hood? Does it really fit that poorly?
