i am going to put a s-afc and wideband O2 readout where the vent controls were. should i leave the faces aluminum and brush or polish them or cover them in caebon fiber or just paint them black? i also need ot know how to get at the plug so i can remove the vent controls and resolder them. none of the lights work excpet slider switches. can i just remove the guages to get at the plug?
