yeah i love MY CUP holder. She came with Double D's, and she got me a set of Corbeau's Targa RS's for our anniverseray last year. This year it was a set of RB sway bars, and adjustable end links. Cupholders don't get better than that.

Oh I know! Not one of Mazda's better 1980's ideas. The B-series pickups (we've had 4 in our family) all have "cupholders" there too.

Thanks Hozzmann! No cupholders has been my biggest complaint about this car since I bought it. (For the purists: YOU take a 300 mile trip without a beverage, my last trip used screw top bottles, but would rather travel with just a final refill, because I can be cheap!)

I actually use a Ford/Saab drawer type cupholder under my aftermarket radio in mine. It took a little fabrication, but now works perfect.

I'll take some pictures this weekend and show everyone

Get one of those backpacks that stores liquid. Pretty cool. Has a tube that goes up to your neck. WHen you want a drink, you just drink it

Wal-mart has em for like $15 in the bike section.

i wonder who came up with cup holders, it ws probably the same guy that came up with the twisty "sony" thing thats on the front of the ps2's (the little sighn on the front of the cd tray turns so you can lay the ps2 on it's side or straight up and the sighn will be straight)...

You probably have the cotton mouth because you're running with no cats! I know I was always thirsty as hell when I drove my 7 without them. (came from previous owner with straight pipe) The unburned fuel smell always made we wicked thirsty for some reason.

Anyway, I usually just buy gatorade in sport bottles when I go driving, so you can just seal it up and put it on the passenger seat or whatever.

I have been told that you can use the cupholders from an early 90's Taurus or mid 90's Altima/Maxima.
If you have a single din after market stereo head unit, the cupholders slide into the area under the head unit that is open.
These should be readlily available at any boneyard-cheap.
I saw a pic a few years back and it looked pretty good. Never got around to it myself, I use the windowsill cupholder in the golvebox.

Exclamation

Watch out for the cup holders you hook on to your door between the window, if you have tinted windows it will scratch the tint and leave nice scars on your window.

they are cupholders that grab onto the air vents on the FC dash.
Im not sure about anyone else, but I just spent 20$ replacing those f-dat idea.

If anyone was interested I am sure someone with mad CF skills could make a new cover for that compartment near the ebrake with 2 cup holders built into it. Would probably look pretty pimp.
