When did it last work? Look in the engine bay and make sure the end of the cable that attaches to the throttle is still attached. I had the little barrel on the end of the cable pull off on a car once. Then the normal things like making sure the plug on the back side of the control handle is secure along with the plug to the cruise box, next to the fuse box, is secure. And the actuator in the engine bay has its plug secure. I do remember a clutch switch, located on the clutch pedal , being broken and making continuity all the time which disabled the cruise. You might pull the plug off. Do you get a light on the cruise control switch? With the plug off the cruise control unit, do you , with the key to the on position, get any voltage at the yellow wire? If you do your getting an *off* signal from the clutch or brake sw that should not be there if neither is depressed.

Check that the vaccum hose is connected to the acturator in the engine bay. Make sure it is not cracked and that there is a vaccum going to it. Go to the FACTORY MANUAL THAT IS A FREEBEE ON LINE and go the section that says BODY ELECTRICAL. Ther e is a schematic and a how to, to some degree, to fix it. Its at http://www.iluvmyrx7.com
