I'm looking for Cruise Control ECU for my 88 vert and was wondering if the cruise control ecu are compatible between n/a and t2, and from S4 to S5.

For what it's worth, when I purchased my '89TII new, after trading in my '88TII, I found I didn't like the cruise control on the '89. Once you go below 40mph memory loss, and needed to reset cruise when up to speed. I asked if an '88 could be installed, but after the dealership checked into it they said not compatible.

The S4 Turbo and Non turbo cruise control computers are interchangeable, however the S4 car is not compatible with the S5 cruise computer.
a couple of other things.
The 88 vert uses a dedicated cruise control actuator. The regular N/A actuator will not fit without minor modification to the mounting.
and the cruise plug on the 88 convertible is next to the ECU in the passengers floor panel. This is a different location than the coupes which use the drivers kick panel.
