when i push the button that sticks up at u on the switch, for the power to the CC, the main light lights up like it should, and when i push set, the cruise light lights up, but the cruise control doesn't actually do anything... anyone have any ideas? what should i check? fuses are a non issue, they all are fine, i dunno where the cruise control mechanism is on the car, hence not knowing where to check... maybe some pics to help? its a 88 TII

 

look behind the throttle body. Theres a cable that runs along the firewall from the pass. side.
