I finally found one reason why the cruise does not work, the clutch switch ... now that that is fixed, the cruise main and cruise lights come on (as well as the shift up light) but does not hold speed. Now what?

The actuator may not hold vaccuum. I have one that works if you think you may be interested. Its off of a 86 GXL that I'm using as a project car. Its not my daily driver so I don't need cruise, A/C or all that stuff.
