for some time now my FC has had some really bad wheel hop when corning. i notice it most when entering or exiting ramps on the freeway. it could be my front diff mount because my car jumps all over the when i drop the clutch, but it doesnt make clunking noises when i shift. i dont understand why i would be experiencing crazy wheel hop when taking a smooth banked off-ramp at a with a good amount of speed. it doesnt matter if im turning left or right the rear wheels still hop like crazy. i know this has been brought up before but any help would be great. i dont want to purchase new bushings or mounts if i don't need to.

 

What car do you have? S4 GXL? TII? Sounds like the clutch packs aren't working properly if it has the mechanical LSD.

Could be blown struts, a low tire, check the simple stuff first.

 

Blown shock/strut is my first guess.

its a 90 GXL and it is in need of new struts. i hope thats all it needs. the back of the car does like to jerk left or right when hitting a bump or pot hole. i dont know it that helps.

 

Yeah no LSD, unless it was swapped in, so I'd put money on the struts. Bushings won't hurt either.
