Actually, you want to heat up and vaporize your fuel for better peformance. Vaporized fuel burns, liquid fuel does not. FI achieves 5% vaporization, the other 95% is why our cars were built with cats. So heat up your fuel, carefully of course, and you should get better power and mileage.
*edit: You still want cold air. Fuel and air are like pizza and beer. You want the former hot, and the latter cold.
