crapy fuel ecomony

crapy fuel ecomony

i used to get close to 24 mpg. but now it is closer to 17 mpg. 260 milles to tank to now 200 a tank about. i am runnin 92 octane. i was told denetion may kill the rotary so i am not taking my chances. 10w-40 oil. in mn. and i am using to for my job at the a sub shop. lots of hills in town. i also cleaned my K&N filter a few months ago. i am about due for an oil change.

you should be running 87...the higher octane will do more harm than good on a stock 7

well that really depends on whether or not his car is a turbo. of course if it was turbocharged he wouldn't be getting 24 mpg on it....ever....

The best mileage I can get is about 22.5 mpg in my TII. That's mainly highway miles going 70 mph.

FAQ!! It'll tell you what to tune up. Often it's the O2 sensor ($40).
N/A's won't knock. Use 87 octane. It'll burn cleaner too.

i used to get 24 on the freeway before i modded my TII. now i get 18 on the freeway and like 12 areound town
