i took em off, used a brillo pad and scrubbed them real good, dried them off, and used some cheap black spraypaint, they are looking a lot better IRL, the pic kind of sucks.

Yeah that probably would be an improvement.

I've thought about painting the headlight trims body colour. I saw in done to a 1st Gen once and it looked quite good.

Thats a neat idea.

I hope no one takes this idea and paints it some crazy color, like yellow on a blue car, with a red stripe. And a green polkadot.

I sprayed some fresh ultra flat black on mine last summer and it was one of the best things I've done.

Agreed, I've redone the headlight housings as well as the brake ducts and the cooling shrouds. Gave them a coat or two of flexible bumper paint and they look wonderful. All the little things start to add up.

Shhhh, you're ruining it for everyone!

People can see my headlights cuz I leave em on even when it gets slightly dark.

Not for me, for the blind old guy in the other lane of traffic.
