Crank Angle Sensor won't budge...
Timing's off... following the FSM but the crank angle sensor won't move at all. Can't even pull it out like the Haynes says. Is this thing supposed to be hard to turn and tough to pull out or is mine just special? And if so... How would you suggest moving or pulling a special CAS?

Tried the WD-40 with no change. I'm letting it soak overnight but I'm beginning to think there's supernatural powers at work here...
Anyone else have any advice/guesses/experience?

prybar it out. When i siezed my motor my cas was an absolute pita to remove. I guess it was the first time ever moved so I used a prybar and she popped out. make sure you removed the nut holding it down though haha.

Thanks. When I get some daylight I'll give that a try. I only see one bolt on it holding it in and that one is removed. I hate forcing something out like that, but I guess it'll be hard to break it more...

Yup. There's one nut that secures the CAS. If that's removed, the only thing holding it in is pure old age & stubbornness. There's a rubber O-ring that will get old and not want to move.

i had the same prob, if u wanna just move it, taping it with a rubber mallet will usally work, but if u want it out, i needed to remove the front cover and smash the **** out
