cpu resoldering

i am on my second resoldered cpu the first time i didnt do a very good job. i found another one in a junk yard and meticulously resoldered every connection but my door lights stay on and the door idiot light is on aswell i have checked the door swiches as well they are working properly. so the problem lies else where
any ideas

A short to ground elsewhere in the door switch wiring?

Check the wiring diagrams, and the body electrical section of the FSM for the pin-outs.

did the first CPU have the same problem??? if so then yes I would look at the wiring and door switches.

But if the first CPU didn't have the problem, but this one does, then the solder job you did is bad

BTW: I have rebuilt CPUs available on my website
