Thumbs down Courtesy Lights/clock problem(searched extensively)

Before I start, I searched using the following terms:Courtesy lights, door lights, interior lights, vert lights, red/white lights, open door lights, clock reset, clock, idiot cluster, inop clock, and clock not working. In addition, I went to the faq, and looked searched the function of every fuse, and I didn't find anything(I've been on this for two hours).

So basically, what I have going on here, is my courtesy lights(door lights) are no longer working. They worked fine when I first got the car about 2 months ago, and they suddenly stopped about 2 days after I got it. I never really cared before, but now since I may be selling it, I want to get it in top shape. On top of that, my idiot cluster has miraculously started working again, however, when I set my clock, it resets to 1 o'clock every time I start the car, is that a normal occurance? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you checked the 7.5 amp Room fuse?

Do you have a light in the trunk? If you do it uses the same fuse as the door lights so if the trunk light works then the fuse is good.

Check the contact switches in the door sills, they might be sticky and not grounding the courtesy lamp circuit.

The clock behaviour is classic "Bad solder joint"...redo the contacts on the idiot light/clock circuitboard to fix.

I agree...
-the clock cluster has some cold solder joints that need to be touched up.
-unscrew the buttons at the base of the door and see if one or both are rusted/broken
