i have a k&n cone filter - is there anything i can use or any method i can use to effectivly clean the filter without buying the filtercharger cleaner kit?

-when flushing and filling the tranny with redline MT-90, do i fill it right up to the fill hole?

i would just buy the cleaner, but im low on dough!

 

1. With the K&N I had on my vert, I would just run wwater from the inside out. Didn't make it go any faster, but it did get some crud out.
