Couple of questions

Would 40hp from bolt ons including pineapple sleeves be too optimistic on a S5?

If you premix on and S5 and remove the OMP, will you have electrical problems?

Does premixing cause an abnormally rich situation?

What kind of MPG do you guys average?

well bolt ons to get about 40 horse power could be.........
full exhaust no cat
cheap ebay intake
if ported bigger injectors
tb mod
pineapple sleeves
and that right there can add up to close to 40

and i dont know too much about premixing but if done right i dont think it causes too much of a rich wituation

Removing the s5 omp will make the ECU go into limp mode and you'll think you blew your motor because it won't go past 3,500rpm.

Pre-mixing causes you to be 1% leaner. I mproving gas mileage.

FOr the 40hp I have one thing to say. DUALS!

From the duals alone you get about 34rwhp then with an intake another 5 PR sleeves might be another 5. Port your intake manifolds and You got another 5. Need any more info PM me.

This is a copy of the dyno chart outlining the power increase from the exhaust.

They also never specified if the car had excessively clogged cats before they put it on there. Also, for most people, the duals just are too god damn loud, you could probably hit that 40hp with just a RB main pipe presilencer and open mufflers and not have bleeding ears after each run.

I doubt they would do that. I drive evry day 40+ miles I have no hearing problem whatsoever. The sound level is not extreme unless you are on it all the goddam time. I cruise around 3k RPM and there is no drone to been found like many people say they get from other exhausts.

Maybe you're deaf already and you can't hear it anymore I passed on the dual idea simply because it's too damn loud for me, though you have the dual silencer setup, so that might be more tollerable. You have to make us a damn mp3 or something!

You can barely hear it if you drive softly. If you drive like most of us do. meaning WOT then they will be a little louder but they sound awesome. People always compare "custom" duals to the MT duals. the big *** sifference is they use glass packs or whatever cheapo mufflers and Mazdatrix used RB mufflers and presilencers which tone things down a lot.

I was thinking of going true dual with no silencers straight to N1's, but I value my hearing more than that, and I was too cheap to think about investing in two silencers for it, so I'm going the collected route

1986 GXL with about 55,000 miles on it (my personal car).
This from Mazdatrix

Incase you were wondering on what car they used for the DUALS on the Dyno. I will be asking them for more information later on.
