couple issues with s4 block swapped into s5
so i picked up a 1990 gtu with a blown motor and threw in a s4 keg that came out of one of my 88' when i turbo swapped it and i've got a weird things going on. (used all s5 manifolds and electronics, kept all emmisions except for AWS)
1st off my six port sleeves don't turn without a lot of force, as if something is binding them up (i did clean them up and everything works freely when not bolted up), i didnt use a LIM gasket, just some silicone gasket maker, could this be causing some issue? right now i have the sleeves turned in the open position)
2nd i can't for the life of me find the coolant temp sensor wire on the harness end that would plug onto the block, what color is the wire itself, and where does it come out of the harness?
3rd In hard cornering the engine will sometimes cut out, it does this regardless of how much fuel is in the tank, so im sure it must be an electrical issue, but i checked all the major ground points of the wiring harness, is there anything else which could cause this?
overall the car runs beautifully, perfect rock solid idle etc. any help would great, thanks.
