a couple issues with my newly acquired rx7

off the top of my head...
-permanent lazy eye headlights... they look cool and all, but i'd like to be able to raise/lower them myself.
-would i have to remove the front bumper to gain access to the headlight motors?
-front windshield wipers don't work

that's all i can think of at the moment. i know there's more, i'm just drawing a blank.
the car doesn't run yet (need radiator, should be here tomorrow) i'm sure i'll run into a bunch of other things here in the next few days.

you might be missing a fuse for the retractor.
you dont have to remove the bumper just the whole headlight housing
look for the fuse for the wipers

there are 2 white ***** on the bottom of the headlight motors that can be adjusted from under the car. they will raise/lower the headlights. there might be a rubber cover on them. you can at least make them look normal until the electrical part is figured out. the connector for the motor should be in the engine bay right behind the headlight. i believe its a circle connector, mine has blue plastic insulator around the wires.

the way the previous owner had it set up, we weren't able to remove the housing because the fender was in the way. i'll see what i can do after work... today i should be getting my radiator so i'll finally be able to drive it

Wipers could be the switch inside the car. Notorious for only working on slow speed, might have just stopped working on slow speed also.

Headlights, look at what 87 t-66 said, and also they have a retractor fuse on the drivers side shock tower in the black fuse block (rectangular). It is labeled retractors iirc.

ok i found something.. interesting.
this is the intake to the turbo...
note the bolt...


also, i have the racing beat 3" down pipe. is there supposed to be a sensor in it? cause, well, there isn't.

Bolt is ok..... I put a bigblock chevy sparkplug in mine.

Good luck with the build. It is awful going behind someones garbage mods.

I have helped a few friends out that purchased cars with problems that have been previously modded.

Never fun.

Back to stock.....work bugs out.....drive for a while...reliable?.....then start your proper modifications.

that's a relief. i saw it and was like w...t...f...
that's barely the tip of the iceberg with this car though. he had an 'INTIMIDATOR' intake filter. it wasn't even properly attached, but then again, the entire intake wasn't on securely. that would explain why he had the turbo lag...
