Could TII injectors cause bumpy high revs in an NA?

When the shop rebuilt my engine he streetported it and said that I should put TII injectors in the secondaries because it would rev smoother. I said sure why the heck not I've already had to ***** myself out every night to pay for this, what's one more night. Anyways, ever since I've had it back (after the break-in of course) when I take it past like 5500 it seems to kinda be bumpy, and when i hit 6k it really doesn't rev smoothly. The exhaust will POP when I shift at high rpms. So with my limited mechanical knowledge I have made the following supposition as to why this is occuring...
The TII injectors are squirting too much fuel and I am not getting enough spark to handle it hence the POPPING at high rpms.
Do I have any freakin idea what I'm talking about?
Should I install the old injectors and see if this occurs?
If it is a spark problem, what do I need to fix it? Separate Ignition System? MSD?
Thanks for the help guys. The car runs great when I drive it like its any other car, but when I drive it like an RX-7 its just not cutting it.

You are right on, the TII injectors are making it run waaay too rich. It's killing power like crazy too!
No question, put in the NA injectors, it'll be like night and day, you'll probably gain 30 hp.
Don't worry about your ignition. Has nothing to do with it. It's the overly rich fuel mixture, way off the ideal. Probably running at about 10:1!!
Your mechanic sounds like a typical one. Doesn't know the specifics involved with these sorts of mods.
A street ported NA will never need TII injectors!!!!
You'd have to be pushing over 250 hp on an NA to need bigger injectors (turbo is another story of course.. much more fuel needed to prevent detonation)

Either this guy has absolutely no idea what he's talking about, or he does know what he's talking about and he laughed at you as you drove away. Go back and demand a refund for unnecessary work that has worsened your engine's performance.
Man, this guy streetported your engine????
I wonder if he even knows what he's doing. Are you sure he even did anything???
I'd start getting verrrrrry skeptical. Poorly built engines like to blow in less than a year.
How can a guy that doesn't even know about the injectors street port an engine????
I'd have a little talk with him if I were you.
