yet more often than not it is user error, go figure.

i bet the o-ring rolled on it's way in due to lack of lubrication. i've installed many many injectors and even doing it properly i find myself doing it from time to time.

you either picked the wrong size or error in install.

I also once ripped a o-ring test fitting a injector and I didnt lube it first.

b/a is one of the largest suppliers of auto parts in the world and it aint like mazda makes their own o-rings anyhow

Yea, pinching or ripping O-rings for the injectors is common with FCs, for some reason they really like to fubar on you, whether it's OEM or B/A.

I used that same kit, no leaks for 5 years, lubed during each install even reused so I'm voting for possible user error. Neoprene orings are neoprene orings.

everyone likes to think they're perfect, it takes a humbled person to admit that they were possibly wrong.

most people try to jam the injector into the rail which is what causes issues, a pushing and pulling method helps to work the injector into the rail so that the o-ring doesn't want to roll over on itself and rip.

new seals especially have this issue, all of them including OEM.

and whenever working with the injectors on these cars i prime the fuel system with the UIM off several times to make sure there are no leaks, to save time and aggravation.
