could my tps be bad?

I was just checking my TPS and when it sweeps from 1 to 5 i seem to get a dead spot. As the multimeter gets to about 3.8 ohms it always goes to OL. If I go very, very, very Gradually it seems to sweep ok. My other TPS seems to do this as well. My question is, Do I have 2 bad TPS's OR I am I simply observing an anomally of my multimeter.
BTW when sweeping from 1 to 5 ohms, it does read again right after the dead spot. It seems as if 3.9 ohms is dead and then it continues on to 4 and 5 ohms.

Is yours and autoranging DMM?&nbsp If so, ignore it.&nbsp If not, it's a dead spot and can cause hesitations.

yes i believe it is. I'm trying to track down the cause of a lack of power and I was hoping that was it.
