could i have blown something electrical?

Hi,
After I re-installed my stock fan set-up, I went to start up my car.......nothing. So I assumed that the e-fan drained the battery on the way home from chicago, and decided to charge the battery. Unfortunately the charger I had at the shop was a total pile, so it did nothing. Then I had my brother come out and try and jump me......couldnt get it going. So we left for the night, and I tossed it on a good charger about 10 minutes ago. The charger says its charged up, but apparently not. All I get now is a really loud clicking noise like the starter isnt doing anything. I tried to start it once more, but then like the power just went away. The charger was still hooked up and all, but the power just bizzzz (sound like a bug being zapped) disappeared. Now when I did go out by the battery and unhook the charger and re attach the cables, I got power back. Any ideas?

First guess - battery cable connectors.
A bad connection will get hot when trying to crank the engine.

battery cables are connected and feel tight on there. I just left the charger on the batt for around 30 minutes, and it still does the same thing. I'm going to go check fuse stuff and hope my problem here is an easy fix...(curse the electrical fans!!!!)

Just checked the voltage on my battery........0.1V I am going to assume my battery is fried. I checked the water level, it was low, so I added water, and still got nothing. Time to go visit my great friends at pep boys (at least i'll be returning my e-fan and temp stuff)

New batt and the FC lives. Smoked a crap load though. It was so flooded, but whatever. The stock fan is also pulling a lot more air than it was before (which is good...no more overheating). thanks
