it'll quiet down quite a bit but IMO you should still run a presilencer as well as the borla. i have the SSAC turboback with the motoria presilencer and a 3" Borla XR1 and it isn't excessively loud but still enough to get you pulled over if you aren't careful.

the CS exhaust is almost identical to the SSAC setup, the "muffler" is completely useless. take a look inside and youll see what i mean, there is only about 30% of the muffler baffled to kill noise, this means you basically have a 3" straighpipe exhaust with a tiny bit of muffling.

CS turboback is annoyingly loud, they should make a note of it when selling it, it wouldn't even be allowed at most sanctioning tracks.

You are right, I have the SSAC and a RB DP, without a borla pre silencer; it was stupidly LOUD! With a borla XR1 as MP it isn't excessively loud, and I love the way it sounds. I didn't have a problem for over 2 years, till a couple of months ago, I was pulled over twice on one month period (same urban area), never got a ticket though.

I have the Turbo-Back and I run a big Borla XR-1 as my midpipe (I think the Borla part # is 40943) and I love it. Sounds great, quiets it down a lot, but doesn't take away the tone of the exhaust.

I have the CS cat-back - RB PreSilencer - RB DownPipe. 3" all.
This is a very nice set up for me. It's not Loud. It's Deep and got rid of that high pitch sound that annoys me.
It looks great too, flushed to the bumper not all hangging and all over the ******* place..

Currently running
RB 2.5 downpipe to 2.5 RB presilencer to CS 2.5 tapered to 3inch catback.

It is ungodly loud. I think the 2.5 to 3 inch transition acts like a megaphone but I want to get rid of my corksport with the quickness.

I can set car alarms off at 20 feet or more.
You can hear my car start up in the morning through my Stucco walled house.

The silencer restricts the exhaust so much it will flow less than the stock duals. Not fun

I think if you cut out a section of the catback and welded in another silencer it might help.

The quality is great but the noise level has worn me down. I plan to get the Rb duals eventually. Maybe Dual N1's but I still question the loudness of those as well.
