Cooling system Problem. ANyone find my coolant?

For the last couple of days my Adddcolant light has been coming on. Id stop bleed the system and top off with coolant and water. About every 25 miles this would happen but the car would not over heat, it would never get any hotter than normal.

Then the other day it happened and for the first time the over flow tank was overflowing. Thinking by some chance that the thermastat wasnt working i removed that and ran the car wihtout it and the light came on still and the overflow tank was overflowing. Any ideas as to what might be causiing this?

I am going to replace the thermostat and radiator cap and see what happens doubt there would be any difference but u never know.
Any help and diogostics ideas would be great. Thank yuou

Doesnt sound too good. It could be the dreaded coolant seal failure. If it is, it could be time for a rebuild. Hope some other people have some better news or things for you to check out.

no coolant leak. It doesnt disapear it just goes in to the overflow tank. Does smoke at all. Onee thing i just realized after the car was running and got hot and did its thing looking toward the motor the left half of the radiator was hot will there was a significant temp difference when i touch the right side of the radiator.

how many miles on the car? maybe you got so much buildup and a clog somewhere. youknow, the whole system lasts 100000x longer if you change your coolent once a year.

replace thermostat, radiator cap check your hoses and make sure that radiator is clean. cooling system stuff isn't that much $ to replace and could save your car!!
