Cooling issue. Any thoughts?

Valkyrie Yes. Remove it (with a pan to catch the oil), put it in some oil (or water) and heat the oil/water gradually, then check the protrusion of the valve at 149 degrees (Fahrenheit). It should protrude 5 mm.
thank you just like a thermostat. what direction does it go back in?

Well fixed my cooling issue i got rid of the junk 16" Hayden efan. put a 93 taurus fan on low setting high isn't needed on no under tray at all do need one though and no problem at idle all the way to 110 mph 90+ degrees.
